I come from "call Me Meg" as a follower. I agree with your "call to arms" I've often wanted to give a gift of a nitegown to my spouse finding something in satin, with sleeves,

I still love one I bought (her) 10 years ago that had embroidery above the bust, and 3/4 sleeves I've explained to salesclerks that I want to give a "nitegown" that she could wear say in a hospital room... nicely covered not showing chest skin etc. If you can consider branching out in this area I sure that there are a lot of clothing items that are "purely english" if I may say so. good luck with you great "new" site!
